ORDERS
Please review the following Product Catalog Distribution Policy when you request our catalog.
ORDERS
  • Orders may be placed via: website, phone, fax, or email (orders@kotobukitrading.com).
    • Minimum opening order is $250.00 and reorder is $100.
      • Once you have logged in, customer-specific pricing will be visible.
        • Past due accounts will be charged 1-1/2% per month or 18% annually on unpaid balances over 30 days. Orders will not be shipped to past due accounts until the past due balance is paid in full.
          • California state business must also provide a resale number.
            PAYMENT

            Kotobuki Trading accepts the following forms of payment:

            • Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express)
              • Business checks. Order will be held until the check clears.
                • Wire Transfer. Please email (info@kotobukitrading.com) for further details.
                  • Terms are available to qualified customers. To obtain credit terms, please furnish 5 trade references including complete names, addresses, telephone, and fax numbers of the firms whom you do business with on an open account basis. Also include your bank’s complete name, address, telephone number, and account number. Please allow approximately 30 days to process your trade references.
                  INVOICE

                  Invoices are mailed within a couple of days after your order ships.

                  SALE PRICE

                  Sale items are listed under “Specials” with each item’s sale price.

                  BULK PURCHASE DISCOUNT

                  Bulk purchase discount is available depending on item and quantity. Please contact Kotobuki Trading for more information.

                  SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
                  SHIPPING CHARGE

                  All freight charges are Prepaid & Add (includes handling) based upon weight and destination. Final charges are listed on customer invoice.  Rate quotes may be provided prior to shipping. Shipments are F.O.B. South San Francisco, CA.Kotobuki Trading requires contact information and account number for collect shipments.

                  SHIPPING METHODS

                  UPS, FedEx Ground, and select carriers for LTL shipments to all 50 states. Please indicate air service for time-sensitive shipments. Kotobuki Trading recommends a freight forwarder be provided for shipments to foreign countries. Special instructions include residential delivery for UPS/FedEx or Inside Delivery, Liftgate and appointments for LTL.

                  SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

                  If you have specific requirements concerning your order, please include them under special instructions.

                  TRACKING YOUR ORDER

                  Automated notices from UPS and FedEx Ground may be forwarded to Customer e-mail addresses to monitor shipments in transit. Kotobuki Trading may initiate queries for lost and/or damaged goods for Prepaid Shipments on Customer’s behalf.

                  DELIVERY

                  As an added service, Kotobuki Trading offers local delivery in the San Francisco Bay Area at no charge.  Please contact us for area coverage, schedule and other conditions.

                  WILL CALL

                  Orders are available for pick up at our warehouse at 222 Harris Court, South San Francisco, California. Hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Appointments are recommended to ensure orders are ready at your convenience.

                  LEAD TIME

                  Usually, orders ship within 72 hours of being submitted.  In some cases, depending on the size of the order and the volume of activity our warehouse is experiencing the time required to fulfill order requests may be lengthen.  Please contact our office for updates concerning your order.

                  DROP SHIPMENTS

                  Currently, Kotobuki Trading does not provide this service.

                  RETURN POLICY

                  All returns and requests for credit must have prior authorization to be viewed as valid, and must include a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Authorization is required within 5 days of receipt of goods for any returns or credits. Authorized returns must be in original boxes and in new, salable condition, subject to the discretion of Kotobuki Trading. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge. If Kotobuki Trading or the manufacturer is at fault, Kotobuki Trading will send you a call to return the product free of charge. Call Kotobuki Trading at 650-588-8593 for the return label and for help obtaining a replacement item or a credit memo. Otherwise the customer will be responsible for shipping charges

                  If your company needs more than 1 account to register per business, you can do so, however, you will still need to type in the same three pieces information above on the page “step 2”.

                  Edit My Account

                  You can edit your own registered account such as Name, Email Address, Password, Primary Phone, and Alternate Phone. To edit your business account information such as billing/shipping address, the account’s Primary phone and Primary Contact, please call 650-588-8593. Customer Number is not subject to change.

                  Account Security: To prevent unauthorized access utilizing your customer ID, we require that you register for the Customer Page by providing a unique password. To maintain the security of your account, please keep your password private and secure as you would any other piece of sensitive information.
                  Shopping Cart

                  In Shopping Cart, you can view Product Name, Stock Code, Quantity, Unit Price, and Item Total.  Shopping cart can be saved, be recalculated with updated quantity, and be cleared. When shopping is done, you can proceed to Check Out.
